6 months and dedication

Weston Hayes you are 6 months old! I will not talk about how quickly it is going by or how much I want to cry when I think about you being 1/2 a year old! I just won't even go there...

 

 

 

 

You are such a joy to us, Weston Hayes. You make us laugh constantly and I am in love with your sweet smiles.

 

 

  

 

You are growing and developing like crazy. Just this month you have started raising up on your arms and trying your best to crawl. You can get around a room just by rolling over and scooting around so I have to be careful what I leave on the floor. You put everything into your mouth and chew your first two fingers upside down...it is the cutest thing ever!  Although it won't be too cute when we have to pay a $10,000 orthodontist bill to fix your teeth!

 

You wear anything from 3 months to 9 months in clothing and a size 3 diaper. You have recently started saying, "dada dada dada" and it is just the cutest thing ever. You love to hear your voice and make every kind of crazy noise you can. You are hilarious. Oh and you have cut your first tooth!!! AHHH! You are growing up too fast!

 

You nurse every three hours around the clock (yes even at night) and have just started solids at night. I've introduced you to sweet potatoes and you seem to like them. You are an extremely messy eater so that makes it kinda difficult!  I know you will get the hang of it soon.

 

 

 

 

You are a great napper during the day. You usually sleep from 9-11 and then again from 2-4. You do not sleep through the night, but I can honestly say I am used to it by now and I am just going with the flow. I am trying to cherish our times together because one day I will miss those late night snuggles with just me and you.

 

We dedicated you this week at church. It was such a special day and having all our family there to pray over you and celebrate your sweet life was just awesome. You are such a loved little guy and so many people are head over heels for you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1 Samuel 1:27–28"I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD."
