Aubrey Lane you are TWO years old! Where oh where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday I was on my way to the hospital to give birth to you! Now you are carrying on full blown conversations with me and cracking me up at every sentence you say!
You are full of life, personality and love. You have an awesome memory and an amazing sense of humor. I like to think you get your smarts from your mama!
You haven't gone for your official two year old check up so I don't know your stats exactly but I'll update once we go. I'd say you weigh around 24 pounds. You are very petite and one of the tiniest in your class.
You wear anything from a size 12 months to a 2T. You are still wearing a size 4 diaper. We've tried introducing the potty, but you show a little fear and anxiety when it comes to the toilet and pottying, so I am going to give it a few more weeks/months and not push you. I know you will get it when you are ready. My goal was to have you potty trained by the time baby brother arrives, but I just don't see that happening!
You are usually a pretty good eater. You will eat a cereal bar or oatmeal for breakfast, hot dogs or ham for lunch, and whatever we eat for dinner. You still don't like meat very much but are content to fill up on pasta and breads just like your mama! You have a sweet tooth and love anything with the word cake in it! Cookie cake, cup cake, cake!
You love to snack on things like raisins, fruit snacks, goldfish, pretzels and crackers. You drink milk like it is going out of style. You probably go through a gallon in a few days all by yourself!
You still take 1 nap a day, usually from about 12:30-3:30 and then are usually down for bed by 8:30. You sleep through the night and are usually up by 7:00...roaring and ready to go.
You love Curious George, in fact we watch it in mommy's bed every morning when you wake up, you love Barney, Thomas the Train and Minnie Mouse.
You love to read books and do puzzles. Playdough is a treat for you even though it is a headache for mommy!
You love to get dirty in the dirt or mud and playing in water is an absolute favorite. The tub, sink, water hose...those are your ideas of a great time!
You are talking like crazy...you are a little parrot. Sometimes daddy and I have to watch what we say cause 9 times out of 10 you will be repeating it!
You are so smart and can pick up on things very quickly. You can count to 10, know all your animal sounds, can recite any song and some of your ABC's. One thing you struggle with is your colors...everything is blue. I'm hoping you aren't color blind like your daddy...but I'm beginning to wonder! HAHA!
You are a pure delight Aubrey Lane. You make us laugh til we cry and you are just a hoot! We couldn't be more in love with you if we tried. You have the best personality around and I am so proud to call you mine!
What a great year it has been! Full of new adventures, lots of fun, and of course tons of hugs and kisses. We love you so much Bre Lane...you are the light of our lives.
