Summer Days

I have to admit I was nervous about being home all day with Aubrey for the entire summer. I just figured we would get bored and Bre might not have fun. However, I couldn't have been more mistaken...we have had the time of our lives this summer. 

We have done something almost every single morning. Whether it be playdates, swimming, the library, the park, the mall...the list goes on and on. I've tried to capture all our fun dates...but this is really just a small glimpse of our summer fun!

I have had a blast with my girl and I am so gonna miss our time together. Aubrey Lane, you are my sunshine and I love that we are buddies!

Big News!

In March, Christian and I walked through a devastating miscarriage and our hearts were broken. However, we clung to the truth that God allows difficult times to come into our lives, but He promises never to leave or forsake us.  God carried us through that season of life and we are grateful for the lessons learned and the truths He taught us.

We serve a God who is faithful and longs to restore our broken hearts. We are beyond thrilled that God has given us another blessing and are so excited to finally share our news. Baby Moots #2 will be joining us in January!

We are beyond excited and thankful for making it through 12 weeks. We can breathe a little easier knowing we are out of the danger zone. I'm feeling much better now that I get closer to my second trimester and things are starting to become real! Thank you Lord, for Your amazing blessings!

Happy 4th of July

Happy Fourth of July! We've had a relaxing morning just hanging out and playing with play dough. I love our lazy days together!

This was Aubrey Lane last year at fourth of July...only 8 months old.

And because no good blogger leaves out a comparison of the years...

Tonight we went to my sister's for bbq chicken, sausage, the most amazing mashed potatoes you've ever eaten, red velvet cake and homemade ice cream. If that doesn't make you wanna shout for joy, I don't know what will!

My sis just moved into a fabulous new home, kinda out in the country with this huge barn. It's such a blessing that they found this house. We absolutely loved getting to hangout on all their property, take long walks around the yard, and see the horses. It was a great night celebrating our freedom with family.

Love this little girl to pieces! Hope everyone has a fabulous fourth and remembers to thank God for our FREEDOM. I watch the news and see the craziness in other countries and feel so blessed to live in our country. It is far from perfect but I am so thankful we can exercise our beliefs. Let us never take that for granted.
