Men are strange...

Let me begin by saying that I could write a novel on this topic, but for this post, I will shorten it to three examples.

Boys are very strange. Boys think it is fun and entertaining to head down to the beach, late at night, and search for creepy, crawly crabs. Boys think it is fun to run around in the sand and capture these freaky, spidery looking animals. Oh and not just any crab will do...they must be the biggest crabs on the beach...otherwise it gets tossed back. These things are huge...tarantula looking. I can testify to seeing grown men squeal in delight at the sight of a moving crab. I have not seen my hubby move that fast since the day...the day...well I can't remember when he moved that fast!
Take a look at this nastiness. Seriously...this is entertainment? I just don't get it. However, my hubby and the other guys with us really thought this was the greatest thing since sliced bread. weird is that?

Then they got this bright idea that it would be fun to release these angry crabs all at once back onto the beach. Brilliant I tell you. So as you can see here...I am safely up off the ground, just in case these monsters take revenge.

You can see that huge grin on my hubby's face. He is actually enjoying this miserable moment.

Men are strange take 2:

When at the beach, instead of lounging in a chair, reading the latest celebrity magainze, the boys are out scraping their exposed flesh onto the sand. Doesn't that look like fun? Nothing says fun like huge sand burns and crashing into the ground! I mean really...

That is fun? Um...I think I'll pass.

Men are strange take #3
This cracked me up. For some reason the boys would always eat lunch together and the gals would always sit outside on the balcony. We would go inside periodically to get things and the guys would be eating in complete silence. Like not uttering a word.

No conversation.

No chatter.

Just chewing.
Isn't that just weird?

And finally... I learned one more strange thing about my hubby while on this trip...he can jump higher than anyone I know. I mean really...this boy can fly...He never ceases to amaze me.

Whoever said white boys can't jump...never met Christian!
